Fantatee Return & Refund Policy

Fantatee designs and handcrafts solid-wood furniture built to last. Each piece is made and inspected with care, but if something isn’t right, this Return & Refund Policy explains how Fantatee will make it right. These terms apply to orders shipped to the United States, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Spain, Canada, Italy, Belgium, Portugal, and Australia.
Policy Overview
You may request a return within 30 days of delivery.

If the issue is Fantatee’s responsibility such as shipping damage, manufacturing defect, or wrong item, Fantatee will cover return shipping and provide a prepaid return label.

For change-of-mind returns (e.g., preference for another size, color, or style), the customer pays for return shipping.

Refunds are issued within 7 business days after the item returns to our facility and passes inspection.
General Conditions for Returns
To keep returns smooth and safe, please ensure the following:

Condition: Items must be new, unused, unassembled, and unmodified. Any signs of use such as scratches, dents, stains, odors, pet hair, extra holes, or refinishing make the item ineligible.

Packaging: Keep all original packaging, including foam inserts, corner guards, hardware packs, tools, manuals, and accessories. If you no longer have them, you must repack with equal protection to ensure safe transport.

Proof of Purchase: A valid order number.

Assembly Status: Items that have been assembled, glued, or installed are not eligible unless Fantatee confirms a defect or transit damage.

Safety for Large Items: Some returns may require pallet pickup or liftgate service. Fantatee will confirm details if needed.
Returns Covered by Fantatee
Fantatee will take full responsibility if a product arrives damaged, has a manufacturing defect, or does not match the model, size, or finish ordered.
Examples include:

Transit issues: crushed corners, cracked panels, chipped or split finishes.

Manufacturing issues: parts that do not align, unstable structure, uneven joints, or hardware that does not seat correctly.
When Fantatee is responsible:

Return shipping is free (Fantatee arranges pickup where available).

You may choose a replacement (subject to stock and build time) or a full refund.

If you paid a shipping fee at checkout, that amount will also be refunded.
Returns at Customer Request (Change of Mind)
If your piece doesn’t suit your space, finish, or size, you may return it within 30 days of delivery as long as it remains unused, unassembled, and in original packaging.

Return freight is the customer’s responsibility and non-refundable.

After the item is inspected and confirmed to be in good condition, Fantatee refunds the product price.

Any original outbound shipping fee is not refunded for change-of-mind returns.
Items That Cannot Be Returned
- Used, assembled, modified, or refinished items

Custom-made furniture, including non-standard sizes, special edges, unique stains or finishes, inlays, carvings, or any custom specification unless the item arrives damaged or defective.
How to Start a Return
Contact Fantatee Support within 30 days of delivery via email: support@fantatee.com. Include your order number and a brief explanation of the issue or reason for return.
For damage or defect claims, contact us within 72 hours of delivery and attach clear photos or a short video showing the outer box, inner packing, and affected areas. Fantatee will respond within 1–2 business days with next steps. If the issue is covered by Fantatee, we’ll email a prepaid return label and instructions.

Packing Checklist for a Safe Return

Place tops and bases so they cannot move inside the box.

Use the original foam, corner guards, and supports whenever possible.

Seal hardware and tools in a small bag and tape it securely inside.

If the original carton is missing, use a new heavy-duty box or pallet crate with thick padding on all sides.

Close and seal all edges with strong packing tape.
Refund Timing and Method
After your return arrives and passes inspection, Fantatee processes the refund within 7 business days to the original payment method (Paypal, Stripe). Banks or card issuers may take up to 7 additional business days to post funds.
Fantatee’s inspection confirms:

Correct model, size, and finish

All parts and hardware included

No signs of use or alteration

Adequate protection during return transit
If damage occurs during return shipping due to inadequate packing, Fantatee may adjust the refund to cover repair or replacement costs.
Refused Deliveries and Undeliverable Packages
If a shipment is refused without contacting us first and there is no carrier-confirmed damage, Fantatee may treat it as a change-of-mind return. Actual return freight, storage, or re-route fees may be deducted from the refund. If a package is undeliverable due to an incorrect address or missed appointments, Fantatee will help reship (extra freight may apply) or process a return under this policy’s terms.
